Juventus vs Como
It’s been a rough past few weeks for Juventus, as they haven’t won a single game since their 4-1 road win over Parma to kick off February. The Bianconeri bowed out of the Coppa Italia quarter-finals with a 3-0 loss against Atalanta, which was followed by a 2-2 draw against Lazio and back-to-back losses against Inter Milan (3-2) and Galatasaray (5-2) in the Champions League on Wednesday evening.
As a result, Luciano Spalletti’s side fell out of the Top four in the Serie A standings, and they’re in danger of losing more ground if they drop more points against Como, their next league opponent at the Allianz Stadium this Saturday.
Como are also struggling for form lately, as they’re winless in their last three league matches (D2, L1). Cesc Fabregas’ men are sixth in the Italian top-flight table with 42 points, level with seventh-seeded Atalanta,
Talking Points
Juventus suffer double lineup blow
After hitting a purple patch under Luciano Spalletti, the law of averages has hit Juventus hard lately, and many point to their porous defence as the key reason for their sluggish performances in the past four games. The Bianconeri have conceded at least two goals during this period (13 to be exact) while only scoring six goals on the other end of the pitch.
Their worst defensive performance came last night against Galatasaray in the first leg of their Champions League play-off tie. After going up 2-1 because of Teun Koopmeiners’ brace, Juventus conceded goals from Noa Lang (brace), Davinson Sanchez, and Sacha Boey. To make matters worse, they were reduced to 10 men in the 67th minute after substitute full-back Juan Cabal received his second yellow card.
The good news for Juventus is that Cabal’s suspension doesn’t apply to Italy, so he should be available against Como. Meanwhile, the same can’t be said for centre-backs Gleison Bremer and Pierre Kalulu for different reasons.
Bremer had to be taken off in the 34th minute due to a thigh injury. According to reports, the Brazilian’s knock is not that serious, but the Bianconeri could sit him out this weekend. On the other hand, Kalulu will serve his suspension for his double yellow card against Inter Milan last Sunday.
Paz has been Como’s talisman

Como would’ve ended their winless run if they managed to hold on to their lead against AC Milan last night. Nico Paz gave I Biancoblu the lead early by capitalising on Mike Maignan’s howler, firing a left-footed low shot after the AC Milan goalkeeper inexplicably gifted him the ball outside the penalty area.
Paz now has nine goals and six assists in Serie A this season, making him Como’s top scorer and second in the league’s Capocannoniere race, leapfrogging the likes of Christian Pulisic, Rafael Leao, Rasmus Hojlund, and teammate Tasos Douvikas.
Before this, Paz was barely used at Real Madrid, so they sold him to Como for only €6 million in the 2024 summer transfer window, which feels like a massive bargain.
History
Como notched a 2-0 upset of Juventus in their reverse fixture at the Stadio Giuseppe Sinigaglia Djarum last October, as Marc-Oliver Kempf and Nico Paz scored one goal apiece per half. At the time, the Bianconeri were on a six-game winless run in all competitions, which eventually contributed to the dismissal of head coach Igor Tudor, who is now with Tottenham.
Before this, Juventus were undefeated in four consecutive Serie A matches against Como (W3, D1). Como had to wait for more than two decades to return to the Italian top-flight, and they did after finishing second in Serie B in 2023-24. Last year, I Biancoblu finished 10th in the standings to maintain their top-flight status, while the Bianconeri were fourth.
Betting Tip
The Serie A 2026 odds predict a relatively close contest between Juventus and Como. Because they’re playing at home, Juventus have the advantage at 2.10, whereas Como aren’t too far behind at 3.23, and a draw is valued at 3.16 in the 1X2 market. The Bianconeri arguably need this win more than their visitors.
Given their recent results, we believe there will be goals and enough Serie A 2026 highlights for the fans at the Allianz Stadium to enjoy this Saturday. Besides our recommended bet, SBOTOP bettors may also add Over 2.25 at 1.81. Over 2.50 at 2.06, and Total Goals 2-3 at 1.98 to the parlay. Furthermore, a Correct Score of 2-0 in favour of I Biancoblu – the result of their reverse fixture – yields a robust payday of up to 18.50 your bet.
