The Spurs and Rockets will square off twice in the next eight days at the Toyota Center, and NBA fans will surely get their fair share of NBA 2026 highlights from these two Western Conference powerhouses. With San Antonio prevailing in their first encounter last November (121-110), for sure, Houston are seeking revenge on Tuesday night.
San Antonio are on a three-game winning streak, while Houston have won their last two. However, there’s a considerable gap between them in the Western Conference standings, with the former as the second seed and the latter as the fifth seed.
Elsewhere, the Suns, Clippers, Timberwolves, Lakers, Raptors, and Heat will visit the Sixers, Bulls, Jazz, Nuggets, Warriors, and Kings to round out tomorrow’s seven-game schedule.
Today, SBOTOP previews the Top 3 games (and the top NBA 2026 odds) on Tuesday.

San Antonio Spurs @ Houston Rockets
Two of the league’s marquee centers are set to square off, as Victor Wembanyama will try to lead the Spurs to their fourth straight win at the expense of Alperen Sengun’s Rockets. Wembanyama was recently voted as a starter for this year’s All-Star Game, and he’ll aim to flex his credentials tomorrow.
The Spurs are coming off a 123-110 win against the Jazz on Monday, as seven players had double-digit points. Wembanyama led all scorers with 33 points, 10 rebounds, two steals, two blocks, and seven three-pointers on 10-for-18 shooting from the field. Stephon Castle, Dylan Harper, De’Aaron Fox, Julian Champagnie, Carter Bryant, and Harrison Barnes chipped in 18, 15, 14, 13, 11, and 10 points. San Antonio will continue to be without Devin Vassell (adductor).
The Rockets have now won three of their last four, following a 119-110 victory against the Pelicans on Sunday. Jabari Smith Jr. had 32 points, eight rebounds, and seven three-pointers, while Alperen Sengun and Amen Thompson had 21 and 20 points. Kevin Durant contributed 18 points on 5-for-18 shooting and passed Dirk Nowitzki for sixth in the league’s all-time scoring list, while Reed Sheppard added 11 points off the bench.
Houston will be without Tari Eason (ankle) and Steven Adams (ankle), making their task of containing Wembanyama much harder.

Los Angeles Lakers @ Denver Nuggets

Denver were without several starters in that game, as Christian Braun (ankle) and Aaron Gordon (hamstring) were in the medical room.
Jamal Murray did all he could by notching 16 points on 7-for-12 shooting from the field. Julian Strawther, Jalen Pickett, and Peyton Watson added 15, 12, and 11 points. According to the team’s latest injury report, Gordon is upgraded to probable for tomorrow, and Braun will remain on the sidelines alongside Nikola Jokic (knee), Cameron Johnson (knee), and Jonas Valanciunas (calf).
The Lakers ended their two-game skid with a 110-93 win against the Raptors on Sunday night. Luka Doncic, Deandre Ayton, and LeBron James combined for 74 points, with Ayton shooting a perfect 10-for-10 from the field. Rui Hachimura also did his part by pouring in 10 points off the bench.
